The Carnival

In the carnival where souls collide,  I touched your mind  And learned the secret thoughts behind that smile,  Behind that gaze,  Behind the dreams that bind two bodies together.   
The faceless man mimed a heart shaped box  From which he sought to escape.  Had he eyes, would he see the vacant air around him?  Or was this air the trap he devised...  Simplicity.   
I saw the miracle of Siamese twins,  Torn asunder,  And left under the burning light,  
Red as blood  Which whispers through the air.  In slow motion,  They danced while torn between  Tear

EclipseI watched my moon with abandon,  Hidden by the shadows of our lives;  A blackened hole in space and time:  No light could shine upon our love  That night.   
“Would you lie for me?”  She etched the words  
Into my skin with pallid lips.   
“Would you die for me?”  She asked me, as I stared  Into my own lunar eclipse.   
Her moon was pale and warm that night  Shining, bright upon our naked forms;  Twin snakes dancing in our shadows wake,  And raging for the freedom to feel again.   
My moon lay hidden with disease  Above the breeze which called Eclipse

The City of AlbetaA city born from choking dust  Lay beneath the haunting trees;  Distilling words of peace,  Alone, a messenger spills  From darkness greased with fear.  Scraping tears from pallid cheekbones  She crawls upon her knees, drones,  Meeting this:  
Ragged stranger,  She rises in jest.   
Can you rescue the maiden with dreams in her hair?  Can you forgive the thrice-fold sins?  Can you resign yourself to dwell in her lair,  Broken and scarred where atrophy begins?   
To this he sees and bows below,  Her wretched pallor, a beacon of hope;  Stark beneath the tre The City of Albeta

violet rainbowthe words vibrated,  violently,  as they were trapped behind my lips.  searching for release.  
 
her wings wrapped around,  
and spread through the forest,  refracting darkness into:  a rainbow of violet hues,  spread out amongst the leaves.  reminding us to grieve  as the darkened clouds do weep,  throughout opulescent wind.   
i loved, vicariously,  
through the one she found,  tucked behind ivory arms  and held as a child  into her breast.  
as the clouds melted,  
i could taste the salty words  caress my lips.

well i'm back again, kinda.

the past couple weeks have been spent with dealing with the reality of rejections, on top of everything else. i'll probably keep writing and posting here but meh. i just haven't been really inspired lately. i could be writing angsty crap about how i'm feeling. or i could be writing about how i'm missing someone terribly. i could be writing about how i want to get the hell out of this place. but it doesnt feel worth it. it's all been said plenty of times already.

but i do miss her and i'm so glad i heard from her today. words could not describe :) i wish so terribly that i could be there with her. i still feel things that i should not. it's my own fucking fault it fucked up. oh well. that is all i shall say about that.

i'll catch up on my messages, eventually.
